Students studying the BIT (Information Systems) program gain expertise in areas such as database management, software development, system analysis, and project management. Jobs and Skills Australia recently released the Labour Market Update report that listed the top 20 most demanded jobs nationally. Within the list, ICT Business and Systems Analysts were ranked #11, and Database and Systems Administrators, & ICT Security Specialists were ranked #20. The Australian Government also announced the visa extension for graduates from a variety of fields, including Bachelor of IT. This shows how in demand IT workers for are, and at the same time how widely available work opportunities for IT students are.
