Academic Requirements
- Victoria Certificate of Education (VCE), Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) or equivalent in an Australian State or Territory;
- The International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma;
- At least four units of tertiary study at an Australian higher education provider;
- An advanced certificate (Certificate IV or above), diploma or advbced diploma;
- Final year secondary school that is at least equivalent to Australian Year 12;
- A foundation program from Australian Higher Education Providers approved by the Academic Board;
- Applicants with complete or incomplete overseas tertiary qualifications are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
English Language Requirements
- Prior English language studies (ELICOS or other preparatory program) at a registered Australian provider;
- IELTS Academic minimum score is 6.0 (with no individual band score of less than 5.5) for degree courses, and 5.5(with no individual band score of less than 5) for diploma courses;
- TOEFL minimum score is overall score of 64 (Writing 21 or more, Speaking 18 or more, Reading 13 or more, Listening 12 or more) for degree courses and overall score of 53 (Writing 18 or more, Speaking 15 or more, Reading 10 or more, Listening 10 or more) for diploma courses;
- PTE Academic minimum score is overall score of 46 (No PTE communicative skills score below 36) for degree courses and overall score of 36 (No PTE communicative skills score below 29) for diploma courses;
- Completed secondary or tertiary studies in a recognised English-speaking country.
Bachelor Entry Requirements
Domestic Students
All students must be 18 years and above upon the commencement of the course.
Applicants must provide one of the following forms of evidence of their English proficiency:
- Prior English language studies (ELICOS or other preparatory program) at a registered Australian provider;
- IELTS Academic minimum score is 6.0 (with no individual band score of less than 5.5) for degree courses;
- TOEFL minimum score is overall score of 64 (Writing 21 or more, Speaking 18 or more, Reading 13 or more, Listening 12 or more) for degree courses and overall score of 53 (Writing 18 or more, Speaking 15 or more, Reading 10 or more, Listening 10 or more) for diploma courses;
- PTE Academic minimum score is overall score of 46 (No PTE communicative skills score below 36) for degree courses and overall score of 36 (No PTE communicative skills score below 29) for diploma courses;
- PTE Academic minimum score is overall score of 46 (No PTE communicative skills score below 36) for degree courses and overall score of 36 (No PTE communicative skills score below 29) for diploma courses;
Applicants must meet at least one of the following Australian or overseas qualifications:

Master Entry Requirements
Domestic Students
All students must be 18 years and above upon the commencement of the course.
Undertaken Year 12 in Australia; OR
Successful completion of studies with English as the mode of instruction, such as an Australian AQF Level 6 or higher qualification; OR
Successful studies at a recognised Australian higher educational institution at an equivalent study level based on at least a 50% pass rate in a recent study period.
A recognised Australian Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; OR
An Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree (or AQF 6 equivalent course) plus evidence of a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience; OR
Mature age students (Over 35 Years)with no formal undergraduate qualifications but at least 5 years of relevant Management industry experience.
OR Completion of GCBA at EIA
Advanced standing may be granted to student upon:
Completion of a recognised Graduate Certificate in business administration (or a related discipline); OR
Completion of a recognised Graduate Diploma in business administration (or a related discipline).
International Students
All students must be 18 years and above upon the commencement of the course.
IELTS (Academic) overall 6.5 with no band score lower than 6.0 or equivalent; OR
Successful completion of studies with English as the mode of instruction, such as an Australian AQF Level 6 or higher qualification; OR
Successful studies at a recognised Australian higher educational institution at an equivalent study level based on at least a 50% pass rate in a recent study period.
A recognised Australian bachelor’s degree in any discipline; OR
An overseas recognised Bachelor’s degree equivalent to AQF Level 7; OR
An Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree (or AQF 6 equivalent course) plus evidence of a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience; OR
Mature age students (Over 35 Years)with no formal undergraduate qualifications but at least 5 years of relevant Management industry experience.
OR Completion of GCBA at EIA
Advanced standing may be granted to students upon:
Completion of an overseas Graduate Certificate in business administration of Australian equivalent; OR
Completion of an overseas graduate diploma in business administration which is Australian equivalent.
