Overview

Our Bachelor of Accounting provides you a professional and practical program with skills and knowledge necessary for accounting roles in Australia or overseas that will boost your job prospects. On successful completion of this course, students will be able to: 

  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of accounting theoretical knowledge and principles underlying accounting practice. 
  • Apply the professional knowledge and skills to provide professional advice related to the field of financial accounting, management accounting, finance, auditing, business law and taxation. 
  • Critically analyse and solve problems in different business contexts and make effective business decisions. 
  • Evaluate the impact of business decisions from social, environmental, and economical perspectives, and make appropriate recommendations. 
  • Apply ethical framework to identify, analyse and propose solutions to a range of ethical dilemmas in accounting practices. 
  • Communicate professional knowledge and insights of both financial and non-financial information via various platforms with stakeholders of diverse proficiencies and expertise. 
  • Demonstrate the capacity to be a lifelong learner, work collaboratively in groups and display a set of interpersonal skills which are appropriate in a culturally diverse professional environment. 
  • Display appropriate use of digital technology to undertake workplace accounting tasks.
